MTT Shipping recently organized a mangrove planting initiative at Sijangkang Mangrove Recreational Park, Selangor.
A heartfelt thank you and kudos to the 25 incredible volunteers—Ruma MTT colleagues and their family members, who dedicated their weekend morning to this meaningful cause.
Your enthusiasm and commitment made this initiative a success, and we truly appreciate your efforts in making a difference.
Together, the volunteers planted 150 Bakau Kurap mangrove trees, contributing to the preservation of this vital ecosystem. Mangrove forests play a crucial role in coastal protection, carbon sequestration, and biodiversity conservation.
Sijangkang, in particular, is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including various bird and reptile species, making it a significant habitat for ecological sustainability.
A special thank you to the dedicated park rangers of Sijangkang Mangrove Recreational Park for their invaluable support in providing planting tools, guiding participants to the site, and ensuring everyone’s safety throughout the activity.
